Hi, I’m Carly and this is my photography business.
Let me share a little bit about me. I am a photographer based in Writtle, near Chelmsford in Essex. I live with my husband and my two beautiful children who are growing too fast for my liking. It really feels true that I blink and miss something! At the same time, it is absolutely wonderful to watch their little personalities grow and shine; each one so unique and perfect!
Well that kind of leads me to why I became a photographer and started my business. When my first child was born, I realised that I wanted to capture all those precious moments and that despite my love of photography, my skills were not quite as good as I’d have liked. So I booked onto a couple of photography courses in the hope of learning to capture better images of my children and well, I fell in love with photography and capturing those moments forever. Now, having trained with professional photographers, I have my own photography business and love the opportunity that this gives me to help you capture those precious memories of your family.
My passion is lifestyle photography, those natural images of you and your family enjoying life together and having fun in those everyday moments. I try to keep posing to an absolute minimum as I find that I can capture the best images of you and your family when you are just naturally engaging with each other. This is why I offer my sessions within the comfort of your own home or at a location of your choice as when you feel relaxed, it shows in your body language and expressions as well as making the photo shoot more enjoyable. I also keep equipment to a minimum, using natural light wherever possible, to minimise distractions for young children and the worry for parents of an inquisitive child (yes, I have one of those!) which helps with those natural smiles.
So, I would like to invite you to have a look around my website, at my work and to contact me to discuss how I can help you to capture those precious, forever memories.
I hope you enjoy. I can’t wait to meet your family.
