Hi, How are you?
Welcome to my photography website, I’m Carly, a lifestyle photographer in Chelmsford, Essex with a love for maternity, newborn and family photoshoots and personal branding.
One of the most important parts of your photoshoot experience is the connection with your photographer, so let me help you get to know me a little.
I’m a mummy to two beautiful little children (yes, I may be slightly biased!) and live in a pretty little village on the outskirts of Chelmsford in Essex. When I’m not photographing other people’s lovely families, we are often out exploring in Essex for new photoshoot locations and having a lot of fun on the way. At home, we often bake cakes together and do arts and crafts. Sounds idyllic doesn’t it? but don’t be fooled, with two young children, there’s also plenty of craziness and tantrums going on too.
Photography is my passion and having been a hobby for many years, I finally seized the opportunity to make it my career after the birth of my first child. You see, I would have done so many years ago but I listened to others tell me my dreams weren’t possible, nowadays I know anything is possible with passion and determination.
That passion and determination has driven me to continuously challenge and develop my skills, having trained with several of the UK’s award winning photographers across different genres to develop my own style which you’ll see today on my social media and website. One of the most important of these being how to safely pose your precious newborn baby.
Lifestyle and outdoor photoshoots are my absolute favourites, each one tells a beautiful story of a family – the love, the emotions, the connections but most of all – the fun!
I’d describe for you what a photoshoot with me looks like but each one is so unique to you that I think it would be impossible to say except that I will do my best to make sure that it is relaxed, your children have fun and that you love your photos.
